But I'm so enjoying my Xmas pressie. I was lucky enough to be brought up in Yorkshire so seeing home turf is fab.

I suspect I will watch them. I reckon that's fantastic value for money. Its not as high in thrills and spill as so TV but its very satisfying. Unlike the new actor who is more famous for his roll as Lesley in "The Durrels" and seems to only be able to play Tristan as the irritating sulky brat.
Pre antibiotics and pre war. The box set has 89 episodes. James Herriot is played by an actor who appears to come from the same Chris Timothy gene pool.
Took a me a flipping while to work out how to dig out the disks at the bottom. The reboot doesn't hit the nitty gritty realism of the original, that was famed for have the standard "full arm up a cows rear" shot.
The original and the best complete box set of such a great timeless BBC series. It's a hard life for both farmers and vets. Well, you can tell by all these reviews that these series are just fantastic TV. These dvds are complete.
And more funny. Then rewatch them in a year os so. When this series was rebooted by Chanel Four (UK) recently, it made me long for the original actors in those rolls, Robert Hardy in particular can not be beaten! Vitanrys (veterinarys) I'll come back and visit time and time again
But I soon found the episode I'd got up to (the original first series had been part repeated on BBC4 in England recently)☆Each disc does give the episode titles (three per disc) and you can select individual episodes rather than "pay all" with no problem. Brings back lovely childhood memories of Sunday evenings watching with my Parents when it was originally aired in the UK. But hey do have subtitles.
