I wasn't until my wife's accident that I discovered this type of ladder existed. I'm a very big guy and this unit has no problem supporting me and I feel perfectly safe standing on it. It really is an excellent product, material, creation, etc.

This is just barely long enough for American 8' ceilings. Note that I added a layered plywood header to support the ladder. Its just to many large screws for a common 2*4. And my wife's ankle is now back to normal, thank goodness.
